More than 70% of the printing system is contained in the HP LaserJet print cartridge itself. That means every time you replace your cartridge with an Original HP print cartridge, you get new components and a built-in tune-up for your printer.

Think of your printer as a high-performance car. An Original HP LaserJet print cartridge is like the engine––every two seconds, the intricate set of moving parts in an Original HP LaserJet print cartridge performs seven precision tasks flawlessly:

Rich Color |
HP Color LaserJet images are created by combining four colors––cyan, magenta, yellow and black. These colors, combined, create millions of accurate true-to-life colors.

Since most printed areas are a combination of two or more of the four toner colours, the correct amount and placement of toner as the colors are combined is also critical to accurate colour reproduction.
To ensure a broad range of colours and outstanding results, HP uses chemically grown toners. Each HP LaserJet color toner particle is perfectly uniform in shape and size. This means precise placement on the page for clear, sharp output the first time and every time.
As a result of 20 years of innovations by HP scientists, HP ColorSphere toner provides more colours, higher gloss and faster printing than ever before. Business users preferred HP ColorSphere prints five times more than competitors.* Click here for the whole vivid HP ColorSphere story.

Sharper Blacks |
The science of fusion is directly related to print quality. Much like the chemically grown color toner particles, the mechanically ground black particles are uniform shape for precision placement on the page.
Remanufactured toner is frequently made with wax, resins and dyes pulverized together forming rough jagged toner particles in random sizes and shapes which can result in smudgy, streaked output.
On the other hand, Original HP black toner is mechanically ground to be spherically uniform in size and shape and engineered to have superior charge hold, so images are extra crisp when the particles leap from the negatively charged drum to the positively charged paper.

Unmatched reliability |
In independent testing, Original HP toner cartridges far surpassed remanufactured cartridges in reliability and print quality.**
- 80.1% of all color remanufactured toner cartridges tested had reliability problems, vs. only 1.9% of HP cartridges.
- Nearly 1 of 6 color remanufactured toner cartridges tested was dead on arrival or failed prematurely, while HP had absolutely no premature failures or failures right out of the box
What does this mean to you? Worry-free printing time after time, page after page.
