Simplify, enhance and protect your computing experience with HP Total Care Advisor. It’s your single desktop tool for PC support, system health and shopping. Take a quick look at the simple-to-use interactive dashboard to stay informed, protected and up to date. Convenient category menus offer a quick summary of PC status, a recommended maintenance schedule, links to problem resolution, and access to help and support information.

Protect your PC from the dangers of viruses and monitor the health of your PC and more from this menu. Red, yellow and green indicator icons notify you of areas that need your attention. You can also check your system’s storage levels at a glance.

Security

If there is a red “!” icon next to the security shield icon, your computer may be at risk. Click on the security shield icon. Then click “Configure Antivirus” to get live updates for your antivirus software from the Internet, so it will effectively protect your PC. When completed, maximize your PC’s performance by viewing and installing available Windows updates by clicking on “Windows Update Setting” on the security menu. The red “!” will then be changed to a green “check mark“ to inform you that your PC is in the clear.
