Editable memory books

materials:

• Card stock 
• 8 1/2 x 11 vellum paper, 48-pound clear
• Cutting mat 
• X-ACTO knife or scissors 
• Metal-edge ruler 
• Hole punch 
• Ribbons or metal brads

instructions:

1. Edit the pages onscreen before printing. Simply type your captions into the space provided. Or, if you prefer to hand write your pages, highlight and delete the sample text. 
2. Print the pages onto card stock. Set them aside to dry completely.
3. Place the cutting mat underneath the printout. Using the X-ACTO knife, and the ruler as your guide, trim the white areas away from the inside pages. 
4. Use double-sided tape to attach your photos. 
5. Create a cover for your memory book using the vellum. 
6. Stack the pages face up, with the cover on top, and punch three holes in the spine at the far left edge). 
7. Tie ribbons or insert metal brads into the holes to bind the pages together. 
8. Place your book in a prominent place for family and friends to enjoy.
