Materials:
- 1 Or more sheets of card stock
- Metal-edged ruler
- Scoring tool or butter knife
- Cutting mat
- X-ACTO knife
- Spoon
Instructions:
- Edit the place cards on screen before printing. Simply type your guests' names into the space provided on each card. Or, if you prefer to hand write your cards, just highlight and delete the sample text.
- Print the place cards onto card stock. Print one card for each guest, and set them aside to dry completely.
- Score the cards. Lay a ruler along each set of dotted lines and run a butter knife or scoring tool along the ruler. Use moderate pressure to create an indentation.
- Place the cutting mat underneath the printed card stock. Using the X-ACTO knife and the ruler as your guide, trim away the white areas from each card.
- With each place card face down, fold carefully along the scored edge. Press along the fold firmly with the back of a spoon to crease.
- Stand a place card at each person's plate.
