materials:

  •  3 sheets of card stock
  • 1 Sheet of full-sheet sticker paper, clear
  • X-ACTO knife
  • Cutting mat
  • Metal-edged ruler
  • Double-stick tape
  • Butter knife or scoring tool
  • Spoon
  • Scissors
  • Photos

instructions:

  1. Customize the photo frame by typing addresses into the space provided.
Hint: To create a blank field, click on the text section to select it and then press delete.
  2. Print pages 1-3 of the PDF onto card stock. Set aside to dry completely.
  3. To score the tabs of the self-mailer on pages 1 and 2. To do this, lay a ruler along each set of red dotted lines and run a butter knife or scoring tool along the ruler. Use medium pressure to create an indentation on the paper.
  4. Place the cutting mat underneath the first page. Using the X-ACTO knife and the ruler as your guide, trim the white areas away from each page.
  5. Apply double-stick tape to the top of the short tab (on page 2) and attach it to the back-left edge of the address panel to create a long rectangle. Fold along the joint, and using the back of a spoon, press the fold firmly into a crease.
  6. Open the self-mailer and place face-down. Apply double-stick tape to the back of the photo page (page 3) and attach it face-up to the back of the address panel.
  7. Tape your photo on top.
  8. Fold the mailer frame back up, with the large flap folded inside.
  9. Print page 4 of the PDF onto clear sticker paper. Set aside to dry completely.
  10. Using your scissors, cut out 6 stickers for each mailer.  Peel the backs off the stickers and place two along each open edge of your completed mailer. Press each sticker firmly in place so it doesn't loosen during mailing.
