Tin-can candle lanterns

materials:

• 3 Or more sheets of HP Premium Inkjet Paper #51634Y       
• 1 Or more tin cans, any size          
• Tape       
• Hammer       
• Nails        
• Votive candles in glass holders

Caution:  Use votive candles in glass containers only.  Never leave candle lanterns unattended, and keep them out of reach of children.

instructions:

1. Print your lantern design templates onto the inkjet paper. Set them aside to dry completely.
2. Cut out your choice of designs along the black lines. 
3. Wrap the tin can in a design template and tape it in place.  If the can is large, you may want to print two copies of the design so you can overlap it.
4. Using the hammer and a nail, punch holes in the can along the black dots of the template. 
5. Once all of the holes are punched, remove the template.
6. Light your candle, place it inside your tin-can lantern, and enjoy.
