HP ePrint is a printer feature that allows you to print from your smartphone or tablet directly to your ePrint-enabled printer from virtually anywhere.1 For example, with HP ePrint, you can print:

How do I use HP ePrint?

Each HP ePrint-enabled printer has it’s own e-mail address. To print a photo or document with ePrint, simply attach the file to an e-mail and send it to your printer’s exclusive address. It’s that simple!

HP ePrint allows you to use a variety of e-mail clients to send your ePrint print jobs, including Outlook, Gmail, BlackBerry mail client, and many more.


What e-mail clients can I use? The following e-mail clients have been tested by HP ePrint*:


  • Outlook 2003, 2007
  • Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail
  • Apple Mail (iPhone, iPad, Macbook, Macbook Pro )
  • BlackBerry mail client
  • Nokia/Symbian client (Nokia)

What attachments can I send? HP ePrint will print e-mail attachments for the following file types:**


  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Excel
  • HTML
  • Text files (.txt)
  • PDF
  • Images (bmp, jpg, png, gif, tiff)

Do e-mail attachments have size limits? There is a 5 MB total limit, and a maximum of 10 attachments to a single e-mail. E-mails that exceed these limits will not print.

How do I manage my HP ePrint account?

At the HP ePrintCenter, you can control various settings, including who is allowed to send materials to your printer.


Use the control settings offered on the HP ePrintCenter to manage your ePrint account. For example, you can:


  • Log in using your ePrint e-mail address and password.
  • Access your printer’s inbox and manage your settings.
  • Decide who is allowed access to your printer, block certain senders from printing to you, and view printer status updates from anywhere.
