Introduction
A scanner or All-in-One with a glass flatbed that handles legal-sized documents can help smooth your paper trail. Learn how to print, scan, and copy legal-sized documents and which HP devices can help- make the process fast and simple.
Benefits of legal-sized scanner glass
HP All-in-Ones and scanners with legal-sized or larger scanner glass make it easiest to deal with legal-sized (8.5" x 14") documents. For instance:
- A flatbed allows you to copy documents in any condition, while an ADF (automatic document feeder) may not accept wrinkled, torn, or fragile documents.
- Flatbeds are useful for those who work with legal-sized documents such as:
- Contracts
- Trusts
- Real estate documents
- Government documents
- Orders/Invoices
Prepare to print with legal paper
The HP Officejet Pro 8600A Premium e-All-in-One comes with a second 250-sheet paper-input tray.
Before printing on legal-sized paper, remember to:
Some printers, such as the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-All-in-One, feature a second paper tray for surplus paper storage or an additional type of print media. If your printer or All-in-One does not offer a second tray, check out HP’s selection of paper handling accessories to find attachable paper trays designed for a variety of printer series.
