What are HP Print Apps?
HP Print Apps, such as the Fandango app, bring the power of the Internet right to your fingertips.
HP Print Apps are unique print applications available exclusively on HP Web-connected printers. Use your printer’s apps to quickly and easily access a variety of Web content without having to start your PC or wait for the family computer to free up1.
- A print app is a shortcut to printing select Web content, including recipes, maps, coupons, movie tickets, and much more, directly from your printer—no computer required.

How to add HP Print Apps
Step 1: Touch Print Apps on the printer’s home touchscreen.

Step 3: Touch any app to access a list of app descriptions.

Step 4: When you’re ready to choose a Print App, touch Add.
Adding new print apps to your Web-connected printer is easy! Do it directly from the printer’s large touchscreen—no PC needed:
- Touch Print Apps on the printer’s home touchscreen.
- Then, touch the Get More icon. (If you have downloaded every available app, a message will appear.)
- Touch the app icon that you want to add. The touchscreen will then display the app’s description.
- When you’re ready to choose an app, touch Add.
If there are numerous apps available, you may find it easier to browse by category.
Touch the All Apps button to view the various app categories, including:
- All Apps
- Entertainment
- Family Activities
- Greeting Cards
- News
- Education
- Puzzles
- Photo
- Travel
Next, touch a category to view those specific apps. When you’ve found a preferred app, touch Add. Then, touch the OK button to confirm your selection.
How to delete HP Print Apps

Step 2: Touch the Get More icon on your printer’s touchscreen.
It’s simple to remove unwanted apps from your printer.
- Touch Print Apps on the printer’s home touchscreen.
- Then, touch the Get More icon.
- Touch the Manage Apps button (at the top-left of the touchscreen.
- That will open the Manage My Favorites screen, where you can remove apps by selecting the "X" on the app icons.
- Touch Yes to confirm the removal.
Note that removing an app is not permanent. You can always add a deleted app back again by pressing the Get More icon and following the steps detailed in the section above.
