Apple’s AirPrint—now available as a free software update—allows you to print photos and documents from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod through an embedded OS print function. And, select HP ePrint-enabled printers support this new technology.1

What is AirPrint?

AirPrint allows you to print wirelessly from an iPad, iPhone, or iPod.


AirPrint is Apple’s latest wireless printing technology. AirPrint automatically finds select HP ePrint-enabled printers on local networks, allowing you to print photos and documents from your iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch (second generation and later).


With just a few touches on your device, you can send documents or photos to print wirelessly from select HP ePrint-enabled printers.

    HP ePrint allows users to print from anywhere in the world, from any device with e-mail capabilities.2


    AirPrint allows users to print wirelessly when they are within range of a locally networked printer. However, HP ePrint allows users to print from anywhere in the world.2


    Additionally, AirPrint only works with select mobile devices. HP ePrint works with any device that has e-mail capability.
